Harshad Chopra was born into a Marwari Jain family on 17 May 1983, in Gondia, Maharashtra. His father’s name is Parkash Chopra and his mother’s name is Rekha Chopra, a Homemaker. He has a younger sister named Harsha Chopra.

There were many rumors that the actor Harshad Chopra and actress Jennifer Winget in a relationship. People love their chemistry and have announced that both of them are dating each other. Before Jennifer, his name was linked with his another co-star Sriti Jha from serial Dil Se Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava. Though they mutually ended their relationship due to some personal differences.

Harshad Chopda did his schooling from his hometown in Mumbai. Later, He completed his graduation in Engineering from P.E.S’s Modern College of Engineering in Pune, Mumbai. Initially, his family never wanted him to become an actor. But Harshad with the dream of his own went to Mumbai and gave audition for the serial Mamta after completing his graduation in Engineering.

After giving successful auditions for shows, he finally made his debut with the serial Mamta in the year 2006 where he played the role of Karan Srivastav.  In the year 2017, he was ranked 16th on Times of India’s Top 20 Most Desirable Men on Indian Television.

From 2006 to 2007, he depicted Cadet Ali Baig in SAB TV’s Left Right Left. Next, he joined Sony TV’s Amber Dhara as Akshat Mehra inverse Kashmira Irani. Later in 2008-2010, he played Prem Juneja in Star Plus’ Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil inverse Additi Gupta. In the year 2010, Chopda depicted Anurag Ganguly in Star Plus’ Tere Liye inverse Anupriya Kapoor for which he won the Indian Television Academy Award for GR8! Performer of The Year & the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor.

Harshad Chopda played Mohan Gala in NDTV Imagine’s Dharampatni inverse Aasiya Kazi from 2011-2012. In 2012, he depicted Raghavendra Pratap Singh in Life OK’s Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava? inverse Sriti Jha and Karanvir Bohra. From 2014 to 2015, he played Sahir Azeem Chaudhary in Sony TV’s Humsafars inverse Shivya Pathania.
