However, the couple parted ways after five years as Kavita’s parents had an objection to her relationship with him. Life Journey

Nawab Shah completed his school education from Mussoorie Modem School, Uttarakhand, and Wynberg Allen School, Uttarakhand. Later, he completed his graduation in BA (History) from the University of Mumbai.

In 1999, he made his Bollywood debut movie “Kartoos” starring Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala as lead actors. In the same year, he performed in another popular movie “Sarfarosh” starring superstar Amir Khan and Sonali Bendre as lead actors.

In 2000, he worked in “Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Hogaya” starring Arwind Swamy and Manisha Koirala as lead actors. While it was directed by Rajeev Kumar, but in this movie, Nawab Shah’s performance was unnoticed and he didn’t get much recognition. In 2001, he worked in “Itifaaq”. After that, he got opportunities to work with several film industries like Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Without any controversy, Nawab continuously climbs the steps of success.

Career

In 2003, he appeared in the movie “Escape From Taliban”. In 2004, he acted in two Bollywood movies “Musafir” starring Sunjay Dutt and “Lakshya” starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, and Preity Zinta as lead actors. In 2006, Nawab Shah performed in the movie “Jaan-e-Mann”, and also worked in “Luck” which was released in the year 2009.

In 2011, he worked with Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in Don 2 film. After that, he rose to fame in the 2013 Hindi film, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, in the next year he appeared in a comedy-drama film ‘Humshakals’.Nawab Shah also worked in “Dilwale” starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol which was released in the year 2015.

In 2017, he worked in the movie “Tiger Zinda Hai” along with Salman Khan. While some of his recent movies include “Panipat” which was released in 2019 in which he appeared as Pawan, Dabbang 3 released in 2019, and “Khuda Hafiz” released in 2020. Apart from the films, he acted in Indian television and web series as well.

In 1997, he made his television debut with the serial “Shaktimaan” in which his catchphrase “Andhera Kayam Rahe” became quite popular among the masses. The famous catchphrase is still prevalent among the people.  Shah has also acted in “Sacred Games,” Netflix’s web-series, which had Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.
