Wasfia Nazreen is a mountaineer, writer and social worker who is the second women after won the Mount Everest. She is the only Bangladeshi won the seven summit of the seven continent breaking the record Italian mountaineer Reinhold Messner. Early Life:

Born Wasfia Nazreen Chowdhury on October 27, 1982, in Dhaka, Bangladesh to Nazmee Jahan Chowdhury (father) and Mahmuda Nahar (mother). Her father is an employee at James Finlay Bangladesh and the mother is a singer and school teacher. She raised in Khulna where studied at Sunflower Nursery School. Then she admitted to Coronation Girls’ High School. Her family moved to the port city Chittagong when she was very young and studied at Bangladesh Mahila Samity Girls’ High School. In 1996, Wasfia’s parents divorced her 13 years old. Following the divorce of parents, she moved to Dhaka to live with an aunt. In Dhaka, Wasfia admitted into the English Medium School Scholastica. Then she went to the United States in pursuing the higher study. Wasfia received a scholarship from Agnes Scott College, Georgia. She is very much used to handle the tough situation from early childhood as she had become a homeless girl following the parents’ divorce.

Wasfia Nazreen Career:

Wasfia Nazreen won the Mount Everest on May 26, 2012, at morning 7 am as second women of Bangladesh after Nishat. Prior to the winning of the Mount Everest, she won the highest mountain of Africa Kilimanjaro on October 2, 2011. In the same year, Wasfia won the North American highest mountain Aconcagua. On March 28, 2013, she won the highest peak of Europe continent Mount Elbrus. She completed her task winning of seven summits of the world by reaching the highest peak of Carstensz, Australia through Indonesia side. [2]IMDB
