About Vishnu Manchu

Vishnu Manchu is an Indian actor, producer and director known for his works in film and television in Telugu. He had a brief stint as a child artist with the 1985 film Ragile Gundelu. Years later, he played in the 2003 Telugu Action Movie Vishnu, for which he won the Best Male Debut Filmfare Award.

He is co-owner of the 24 Frames Factory film production company and is an educator with Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust, founded by his father and Telugu veteran actor, Mohan Babu. He is founder and president of the New York Academy, a progressive American international school in Hyderabad, led by his wife, Viranica Manchu, and his father, actor Mohan Babu, who is the president. He is also president of Spring Board Academy and Spring Board International Preschools, which has more than 75 branches in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Vishnu Vardhan Manchu was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, to veteran actor Mohan Babu and his mother, the late Vidya Devi. He grew up with his brother Manchu Manoj and his sister Manchu Lakshmi.
