• Tobey Maguire initially started off as a TV actor in bit-part roles in series like ‘Roseanne’ and ‘Blossom’; however, his first appearance in a film was in a nonspeaking minor role in the film ‘The Wizard’ in 1989.
• In 1992, he was supposed to play the male lead in the show ‘Great Scott’ but the show was canceled.
