Sri Divya is an Indian film and television actress who plays in films in Tamil and Telugu. She has an elder sister, Sri Ramya, who also plays in Tamil and Telugu films. Sri Divya studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya. She began her career at the age of three. She has also played in Telugu TV series. She made her debut as a heroine in the 2010 Telugu novel, Manasara, directed by Ravi Babu, but the film was a failure. Then, she appeared in the movie Bus Stop (2012) directed by Maruthi, co-starring with Prince, who was successful at the box office. He was followed by Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu in which she played a lonely wife who falls in love with a writer. The Hindu wrote about his performance: “She looks very charming, the cotton saris bring out her grace.” Idlebrain.com wrote: “She embodies the character of an idealist and independent woman, she did well and deserves applause”.
