Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash was born in 1969 in Dhaka to parents Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and Arzu Moni. His father Fazlul Haque Mani was the founder of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, a youth wing of Bangladesh Awami League. Parash becomes the chairman of his father established Jubo League. Fazlul Haque Mani is the nephew of founding father of Bangladesh and he also founded the Mujib Bahini. His mother Arzu Moni was a housewife. He has an elder brother, a parliament member from the Dhaka-12 constituency. The standing committee member of Bangladesh Awami League Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim is his paternal uncle. Bangladeshi prime minister is his aunt. Former chairman of Jubo League Omor Faruk Chowdhury is his uncle, husband of his father’s sister.
