Early Life:

Shabana was born on June 15, 1952, in Raujan, Chittagong, East Bengal (now Bangladesh) to Fayez Chowdhury and Fazilatunnesa. Her father Fayez Chowdhury was a typist and mother Fazilatunnesa a housewife. Shabana was not interested about study only at nine years old quit the lesson. In early childhood, she used to pass most of the time with an aunt.

Shabana Career:

Shabana kicked off the journey in the film industry with movie ‘Notun Sur’ in 1961 as a child actress. She made her debut as heroine with the movie ‘Chakori’ in 1967 an Urdu language movie with co-actor Nadeem. Then she appeared in the blockbuster movie ‘Anari’ in 1969. In 1972, she made a terrific acting performance in the movie ‘Ora Egaro Jon’ with the story based on Bangladesh Liberation War directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam. Shabana made a historical acting performance in the movie ‘Chhutir Ghonta’ with in 1980. Then she starred in the box office hit movie ‘Rajnigandha’. In 1984, she made a remarkable acting performance in the movie ‘Bhat De’ with co-actor directed by Amjad Hossain. In 1986, Shabana starred in the Hindi language movie ‘Shatru’ with Rajesh Khanna. She made wonderful acting performance in the two movies ‘Ranga Bhabi’ and ‘Satya Mithya’ with as well as got the positive acclamation from the critics and audience for her wonderful acting performance.
