Career

After being inspired by many movies of Bharathi Raja and after seeing work of Manivannam he decided to make a career in film direction. In 1996 he debuted as a film director with the film named “Panchalankurichi” which is a village action movie has Prabhu and Madhubala in leading role. In 2000 he directed another movie named ”Veeranadai”. After that he directed three more movies but all of them are went flop so he choose to take long break from film industry.

He made a cameback again in 2006 with super hit film “Thambi” with the talented actor named Madhavan. After dircting he tried his luck in the field of acting with movie “Pori” by playing role of Malaysian Businessman. In same year he directed a lover story named “Vaazhthugal” with Bhavana and Madhavan. He appeared as a lead role in his mentor Manivannan’s movie Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA. In 2013 he approached Arya, Jiiva, Jayam Ravi and Vishal for work for some films but all of them rejected the offer. He was in the communication with Vijay Antony and Silambarasan in 2017 and 2018 but after sometime both actors rejected and went with other projects. Seeman planned another movie named “Kobam” in 2018 but he couldn’t find producers. So after that he left directing and only focus on acting. As a supporting actor he appeared in Pallikoodam, Evano Oruvan and many more.

Political Career

Currently he is Chief coordinator of political party named “Naam Tamilar Katch”. which is organization before Naam Thamizar iyakkam. Naam Tamilar Katch is a Tamil political party works in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. This party promotes Tamil nationalism and oppose to Dravidian in Tamil Nadu. One of the main purpose of this party is to free Tamil Ealam from Sri Lanka.

He came in controversy many times in 2010 goverment of Tamil Nadu arrested him for the supporting Tamilins of Sri Lanka and LTTE and annnouncing Velupillai Prabhakaran as a leader of Tamil’s. He was also arrested two time without any trial under National Security Act by DMK Congress goverment which is rulling party that time. At the time of 2014 parlament election his party NTK would campaign for defeat of all candidates set by Congress, DMDK and BJP. This main 3 party loses all their constiuencies except BJP who won their only seat in Kanniyakumari. In 2016 he was among those 176 people who are arrested for attempting to lay siege to Srivaikuntam dam. ^[2]IMDB
