Early Life:

Sabina Yasmin was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh on September 04, 1954, to father, Lutfar Rahman, mother, Begum Mouluda Khatun. Her father was a Provincial Civil Service whilst mother was a vocal artist. She was fond of in music early life; Sabina had presented when her elder sister learned music to Dourgapasad Roy. Then Sabina had learned music to P.C. Gomez for 13 years continuously. At only 7 in her age, Sabina attended a stage show for the first time. Sabina enrolled in Dhaka University from where she completed a Masters in Social Science.

Musical Career:

Sabina Yasmin made her debut with the song Agun Niye Khela in 1967 but she worked in the film Nutun Sor for the first time as a child singer. Sabina has been singing for more than four decades with self-glory. Except for another famous singer it is impossible for anyone to dominate in the music arena for a long period. How many songs, Sabina has sung in career period, it will be hard to give an accurate estimate for herself. Starting from the Marami (mystic) singer Abdul Alim, still, now she is endless singing with modern singer one after another song. In 1985, she got a Doctorate degree from India for her songs.
