Parthiv Patel is an Indian Cricketer who played for Gujarat in Indian Domestic cricket. He was born in Ahmedabad City in Gujarat, India. He was passionate about cricket since his childhood and marked his debut for India in 2002. Patel made his ODI debut on 4^th January 2002 and later that year he also made his test debut for India on 8^th August 2002 against England.

Career

Parthiv marked his India debut at an age of 17 in year 2002.
He made his domestic debut with Gujarat Domestic Team in 2004.
Parthiv was also the captain of Gujarat team in 2016-17 Season of Ranji Trophy and under his captaincy Gujarat won the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy. His scores of 90 and 143 in first and second innings respectively in the final against Mumbai was the major contribution in winning the title.
He became the first captain to win all the three major titles in Indian Domestic Cricket in 2016-17 Ranji Trophy.
He was also appointed as the captain of India Green for 2018-19 season of Duleep Trophy.
Parthiv was made the captain of India B in 2019 for 2019-20 Deodhar Trophy.
He made his ODI debut for India on 4^th January 2002 and in the same year he also marked his test debut on 8^th August 2002.
Parthiv’s last ODI was against England on 23^rd October 2011 and he played his last test match on 24^th January 2018 against South Africa.
Parthiv has also played T20 international matches for India and made his T20I debut on 4 June 2011. His last T20I match was on 21^st February 2012 against Sri Lanka. ^[2]IMDB

IPL Career

Parthiv initially started playing IPL for Chennai Superkings 2008.
He played for CSK team till 2010 but then switched to Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011. He also captained KTK team.
In year 2012 he was the part of Deccan Chargers Squad.
Then in 2013, Parthiv was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Then in 2014, Parthiv joined the Royal Challengers Franchise for one year and then switched to the Mumbai Indians in the year 2015. He played for Mumbai Indians from 2015 to 2017.
Parthiv was then bought by RCB team again in 2018 but released ahead of 2021 IPL Auction after Parthiv took retirement from franchise cricket.
