Musa Ibrahim is the first mountaineer of Bangladesh who won the Mount Everest around 5:05 am on May 23, 2010. He is also an adventurer, explorer, author and freelance journalist. He hoisted the Bangladeshi flag on the apex of the world and the country becomes the 67th Everest winning country. Musa established the Everest Academy to raise awareness and eagerness to won the Everest.

Early Life:

Musa Ibrahim was born in 1979 in Bogra, Bangladesh in his maternal grandparent’s house where his paternal house is in Aditmari, Lalmonirhat. He studied at Thakurgaon Sugar Mills High School. In 1996, Musa passed his Secondary School Certificate Exam from Notre Dame College. He enrolled at the University of Dhaka and received Bachelor of Education (BEd) and Master of Education (Med) from the Institute of Education and Research (IER). Later Musa received a degree from BRAC University in Disaster Management.

Musa Ibrahim Career:

Musa Ibrahim kicked off the career journey as a freelance journalist. He is the general secretary of North Alpine Clun Bangladesh. Musa served as a correspondent on Channel 24, a private television channel. He was a sub-editor of the country leading English daily the Daily Star. He is the first Bangladeshi who deserved unbelievable courage in his heart to climb the Mount Everest eventually reached the highest peak on May 23, 2010. As a first Bangladeshi he hoisted the national flag on the apex of the world. In 2011, he founded Everest Academy to extend the number of youth to participate in the Everest Wining. It is reported that Musa Ibrahim didn’t even climb the Mount Everest. In 2014, a private television channel aired a report about the matter where tourism ministry of Nepal and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) claimed Musa’s name was not on the list who are climbed, Everest.
