Controversies On 27 August 2016, during a T20I match between India and West Indies at Florida, USA, West Indies’ Evin Lewis smashed 32-runs in an over bowled by Stuart Binny, after which India eventually lost the match to West Indies. Life Journey

After completing schooling Mayanti Langer attended Hindu College, University of Delhi, and successfully completed her B.A (Hons).  Since childhood, she loved to play football and played it at the school level. And she got a prefect training from Super Soccer Academy, Delhi.

Later on, Mayanti aspired to be a Graphic Designer but after an experiment, she was offered as a host and associate producer position for Football Cafe by Zee Sports after the successful broadcast at the ‘FIFA Beach Football’.

Later, Mayanti worked for many football shows on the Zee Network doing commentary and interviews during pre-match, mid-game, and post-match shows. Then, she worked for the ‘Nehru Cup Football Tournament’,  which was organized in New Delhi at the Ambedkar Stadium as an anchor. She also worked as an anchor for the Indian Cricket League broadcasted on the Zee Sports.

Later on, after successfully anchoring many sports shows, she joined as an anchor of ESPN’s ‘2010 FIFA World Cup’ broadcast team where she provided pre-match, and post-match analysis of world football competition. Then, In 2010 she co-hosted the commonwealth games with Charu Sharma.

Mayanti then hosted the World Cup Cricket 2011 held in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Moreover, Mayanti hosted a sports news show ‘Star Power’ and also In 2014 hosted the ‘Champions League Cricket Tournament’ and ‘Indian Super League Football Tournament’, & ‘Cricket World Cup 2015’ for Star Sports. Currently, Mayanti is successfully hosting the Indian Premier League 2018 season.
