He got interest in bhajans and lok sahitya at the age of 14. He used to practise bhajans alone whenever he was free or whenever he was doing his farming work. Then he started to do bhajans in village function but as there are too many persons are there he got very less chance to sing. At the age of 21 he became a member of gram panchayat. Currently at the age of 68 years he is still doing many programs of comedy and lok dayra.
