• Lalit completed his schooling at Delhi Public School, Dwarka and his college from Delhi University.
• Then on November 2017, Yadav made his first-class debut for Delhi Ranji Team against Maharashtra. In his first four innings in first-class cricket, Lalit scored three fifties to his name and impressed many veterans of the game.
• Lalit Yadav was signed by DELHI CAPITALS in 2020 for a sum of ₹20 Lakhs but he warmed the bench the whole season and didn’t get a single game.
