Jaipal Bhullar along with other gangster named Jassi Kharar was involved in the murder of CIA ASI Bhagwan Singh and Dalwinderjit Singh. They both are killed by amid a shoot-out in Kolkata. After this crime both gangsters became talk of the town in Ferozepur and Kharar. Department of police also reward of 5 lakh on Jassi and 10 lakh on Jaipal. Currently on June 9, 2021 in joint operation by Punjab Police , central security agencies (CSA) and West Bengal Police both criminals got encountered.

After that DGP of Punjab Dinkar Gupta mentioned in press conference that both criminals are more involved in drug smugglling and also involved in murder of 2 ASI at grain market, Jagraon on May 15. He also added that Jaipal snatched a 9mm Pistol frothe evening of May 10. their other associate Baljinder Singh Babbi and Darshan Sing already arrested by Punjab Police on May 28.
