In 1987 After cracking the exam of civil servant with 15^th rank in all India and 1^st rank in entire Tamil Nadu he started to work for country in many reputed position in his 30 year of his entire journey. He is an Indian bureaucrat from the cadre of 1987 batch. At the starting point of his career he worked as Assistant collector in Nagapattinam and did awesome work. After seeing his work he was promoted to municipal Administrator’s Associate Commissioner. At this post he arranged many workshop to help groups.

After working for several years he was appointed as a District Collector in Kanchipuram. At this stage he raised his voice against child labor and almost remove it from whole district. Along with this he also served as secretariet of CM, director and public relation. He also worked as a Chief director of training at Anna Management Center where he received 36.23 crore from goverment to rebuild Civil job training center. After that he promoted to state additional chief secretary and Training chief Anna since March 2019. He received many awards in his entire journey of civil servant. He did splendid work during Gujarat earthquake.
