Pooja Yadav was born and grew up in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India. Her zodiac sign is Leo. She was very active student and also brilliant student as well. After successfully completing training she got her first posting in Tharad, Banaskantha district of Gujarat as a ASP. She becomes the first women IPS to appointed in Tharad.

Pooja believes Tharad is a critical posting for her because it shares the borders with both Pakistan and Rajasthan. She belives that she can learn lot of things while working in Tharad. She like to check all the issues personally and try to solve all of them asap. Till now she along with her team conducted many raids from where they confiscated more than INR 1.5 Crore worth of illegal Cannabis and liquor. Also they shut down to prostitution house at Tharad.
