About Harish Kalyan
Harish Kalyan is an Indian actor and singer. He is mainly known for his work in the Tamil industry. Born on 19 June 1990, he finished his education from his hometown in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The actor raised to fame for playing the role of “Saravanan” in Tamil movie Poriyaalan. This movie was his first successful project with critics appreciating his performance in the movie. Ever since then there is no looking back for him. He has millions of followers on his Instagram account from all over the world who love him extremely.
Despite having a tough time through his early years in cinema, he regularly pushed himself and finally got recognized for his superior performance with the 2014 hit thriller Poriyalan. He made his acting debut with the controversial movie “Sindhu Samaveli” in 2010. The film was declared disgust because of its plot. His second movie “Aridhu Aridhu” released in the same year but this also failed to take a strong opening at the box office.
Harish Kalyan is a trained singer in Hindustani music. He can also play the keyboard. During January 2012, he announced his intentions of releasing two songs he had worked on titled Kutty Peg – A Toast to Life and Ovvoru Manushanuukum Ovvoru Feelings.
Until 2014, all his movies opened to poor reviews and did poorly at the box office. And finally in 2014, with his movie “Poriyaalan”, the actor got his first successful movie with positive critics review.
