Gabriel Soto started his professional career in modelling. He thought to make future in this field after participating in Mister World contest in 1996 in Istanbul, Turkey where he ended up as a first runner-up. He was also a part of the band named “Kairo” where he replaced Eduardo Verástegui. With this band he was worked in “Libres” and ”Pasiones.”. He made her debut in daily soap with “Mi querida Isabel” after that he worked in many soap opera in a important role such as “Alma Rebelde”, “Carita de ángel“ and “Mi destino eres tú”. In Emilio Larrosa’s soap opera Friends and Rivals, he played Ulises “ugly”. In 2002 he worked with Aracely Arambula and Jorge Salinas in the serial “Las vías del amor” which was produced by Emilio Larrosa.

He played a leading role in Emilio Larrosa’s soap opera “Mujer de Madera” in 2004, opposite Edith Gonzalez, who would later be replaced by Ana Patricia Rojo.
