Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is a well-known Indian actress and model. She is mainly working in the Hindi television industry. Divyanka is known for portraying the dual roles in Zee TV’s Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and the role of Dr. Ishita Bhalla in Star Plus’s Ye Hai Mohabbatein.

Divyanka Tripathi was born in a Hindu family on 14 December 1984 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Her father’s name is Narendra Tripathi, a pharmacist, and her mother’s name is Neelam Tripathi. Divyanka has an elder sister, Priyanka Tiwari, and a younger brother, Aishwarya Tripathi, who is a pilot. She was in a relationship with her Banoo Main Teri Dulhann co-star Sharad Malhotra for 9 years. The duo parted their ways in 2013. Later, On 8 July 2016, she got married to Vivek Dahiya in a private ceremony in Bhopal.

Life Journey

Divyanka Tripathi completed her schooling at Carmel Convent School, Bhopal, and joined Sarojini Naidu Govt. Girls P.G. (Auto.) College, Bhopal to achieve her graduation. Divyanka also did a mountaineering course from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Her father required her to join the National Cadet Corps (NCC), so she joined in Bhopal Rifle Academy. She received a gold medal in rifle shooting. Divyanka was inclined towards acting since childhood and incited taking part in plays, dramas, and telefilms in her hometown, Bhopal.

Divyanka took her first job while she was in school. She served as a host in All India Radio (AIR) for which she got INR 800. In 2003, Divyanka won the title of ‘Miss Bhopal’. The following year, she competed in the talent hunt program ‘The Zee Cine Star’s Ki Khoj’ in Indore and rose as the winner.

Career

Divyanka made her acting debut in telefilms for Doordarshan. She received applause for Zee TV’s famous show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann by playing the double roles. Tripathi achieves many honors for her performance in the show such as the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face and the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress in Drama Category.

Divyanka then got her second project of Star Plus’ frightfulness horror-thriller Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai. Next, Tripathi played the character of Rashmi Sharma, a housewife in SAB TV’s comedy-drama soap Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale.

In the year 2013, Divyanka played the role of Dr. Ishita Bhalla, an infertile dentist who weds a chief executive officer, in order to give maternal love to his daughter in Ekta Kapoor‘s TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein alongside Karan Patel.
