Career

Sakariya used to play for various team at local and also a part of team of his school. When he was playing for his school in district level tournament he got the attention from Rajendra Gohil who is coach at Sir Bhavsinhji Cricket Academy. He offered training to sakariya and after that he started to sharpen his skills under Gohil sir’s guidance.

Sakariya made his official debut in List A matches for the team of Saurashtra against Baroda on 22 Feb, 2018 in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017-18. In the same year on 20 November he made his first class cricket debut for the Saurashtra against Gujarat in Ranji trophy season of 2018-19. In very next year on 21 Feb 2019 he debuted in T20 cricket for Saurashtra in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season 2018-19.

Ahead of IPL 2021 Sakariya was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming season. He has the base price of 2 lakhs but he was signed for 1.2 Crore INR. Before that in previous season of IPL in 2020 he was the net bowler for RCB. ^[2]IMDB
