• Bill Cosby left high school in mid way to join the U.S. Navy in 1956  without earning his diploma.Cosby earned his high school  diploma through a correspondence course.
• He enrolled in physical education inTemple University, while he ran track and played fullback on the college’s football team
• He began bartending at a club, where he used to earn hefty amount of  tips by making the customers laugh and he left the temple university and he started his stand up acts in Gas light cafe
• Bill  Cosby in 1965  made an  appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
