Her father was a music teacher and she used to learn music with the father’s student at very early stage of life. She was so much passionate about the folk song and became the singer of Rangpur Betar only at eight years old. Now, she is the established name in the music industry of Bangladesh.

The Bangladeshi queen of music released her first music album in 1980. She released her single album in 1987 named ‘Potra Mita’. Since she released more than 45 singles album until 2010.
