She made her debut in 2013 from TV show of Zee Bangla show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs”. In this show Arunita came as a contestant and ends us as a winner. After this see was seen in the another Hindi singing reality show of Zee TV “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs” in 2014. In this show her performance on the song “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo” had lots of praises from judges as well as from audience.

She won the title of “Manch Ka Guroor” under the mentorship of Monali Thakur and she was also one of the top 5 contestant in the show. Arunita Kanjilal has a youtube channel of her where she uploads her songs. She is a big fan of Pritam Da. Arunita loves to try new songs instead of practising old songs. She also did many international Stage shows with other popular bollywood singer such as Shaan Mukherjee and Gagan Gonkar. She did stage in various international places like Los Angeles, Huston and Long Beach. She got a very good response from audience at Satarastage show.
