Arbaaz Khan is a well-known Indian actor, director, and producer. He is primarily known for his work in the Bollywood industry. Khan has acted in several leading and supporting characters. The actor made his debut with Bollywood movie “Daraar” and have given some powerful performance in many films including “Hello Brother”.

Arbaaz Khan was born in a Muslim family on 4 August 1967 in Pune, Maharashtra. His family has strong ties to the Bollywood film industry. His father’s name is Salim Khan, a successful screenwriter, and his mother’s name is Sushila Charak (birth name). Actress Helen is his step-mother. He has an elder brother named Salman Khan, a famous actor of the Bollywood industry, and a younger brother Sohail Khan, an actor and producer. He has a sister named Alvira Khan Agnihotri, married to actor Atul Agnihotri and an adopted sister Arpita Khan, married to Ayush Sharma.

Arbaaz Khan was married to actress Malaika Arora. Both met each other while a coffee ad shoot and were blown by each other in their right first meeting. After dating for five years, Arbaaz and Malaika got married in Christian and Muslim custom on 12 December 1998. In the year 2017, the couple got split and moved on in their lives. Arbaaz  Khan has a son Arhaan Khan. The custody of Arhaan went to Malaika Arora after divorce. Post his divorce, he finds love in model Giorgia Andriani. Controversies	• On 1 July 2012, a 70-year-old woman was killed by a Land Cruiser owned by Arbaaz Khan. Although at the time of the accident, he was not there in the car, the family of the older women demanded damages from Arbaaz. However, the Khan family denied paying the compensation; as the family members of the older woman had disowned the older women. • On 1 June 2018, he was summoned by Thane Police for questioning regarding his involvement in an IPL betting scam. Allegations of placing money on matches during the 11th season of IPL through bookies were imposed on him.

Life Journey

Arbaaz Khan completed his primary education at Scindia School, Gwalior. He left his studies and pursuing his career in the film industry. In the year 1996, he made his debut film Daraar in a villainous character of a psychotic wife-beater. Khan got the Filmfare Best Villain Award for his performance.

Though not a wealthy actor in his solo movies, he has starred in numerous multi-starrer hit films such as Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya in 1998 and Garv: Pride and Honour in 2004 where he played opposite his brother Salman.

Career

Arbaaz Khan did a villainous character in the movies Qayamat: City Under Threat in 2003 which was also successful at the box office. Khan also did supporting roles in movies including Hulchul (2004), Malamaal Weekly (2006), and Bhagam Bhag (2006). Later, Khan did support roles as Constable Javed Shaikh and Moscow Chikna sequentially in the multi-starers Shootout at Lokhandwala and Fool and Final in the year 2007.

Khan also made a cameo, with his brother Sohail Khan, in the superhit Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, starring Genelia D’Souza and Imran Khan. In the year 2009, he starred alongside Sohail in Kisaan and did the role of the villain in Jai Veeru. Arbaaz also performed in the TV serial Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny in 2003 and has performed in various TV programs from time to time. Khan also did the main villain in the Telugu movie Jai Chiranjeeva starring Chiranjeevi. The film was widely shot in California, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

In the year 2010, Arbaaz Khan ventured into movie production, with Arbaaz Khan Productions, and his first movie as a producer was Dabangg which was released in September 2010. The movie starred his brother Salman as the leading character as the anti-hero Chulbul Pandey, with Arbaaz as his younger brother Makhi. His ex-wife Malaika Arora Khan featured in the famous item number “Munni Badnaam”. The movie became a superhit within the 1st week of its release and broke numerous box office records, becoming the 2n highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time. Arbaaz made his directorial debut with the sequel Dabangg 2 in the year 2012.
