Early Life

Animesh Aich was born in Sabujbag in Dhaka. He is the middle number among his two brothers. His elder brothers Anjan Aich and Onup Aich, are also playmakers. But Animesh mostly inspired his cousin “Alok Bosu,” a writer and related to theater. Animesh, in his childhood, worked with his brothers and took part in plays in school dramas. He was drawing by looking at the daily newspaper.

He was first admitted to “Fulbari School.” Then he was admitted to “Tulip School” Of Elephant road in K.G class. He completed his S.S.C examination in “Science Laboratory School, Dhaka” and Completed H.S.C “University Laboratory School & College.” In Dhaka University, he completed his study at MFA in the Department of Sculpture (now Faculty of Fine Arts).

Career

Studying at Dhaka University, he went to “Chayanot (Next it published as Jolchobi).” Some directors of this time “Nurul Islam Atik,” “Amitabh Reza Chowdhury,” “Gias Uddin Selim,” “Samir Ahmed,” and also there “Tarek Shahriar,” “Mostofa Sarwar Farooki,” in that time. The young people wanted to create a film. Next in time, Aich worked with “Nurul Islam Atik” as an associate director. When his group friends create drama and film, he also chooses film directing as his career. He led “Kufa,” a television drama, in 2002, and it was his first production. Later, he led “Chor Eshe Bhul Korechilo” in 2004 and successfully started his career as a successful director. Though he worked in drama, he is attached to film directing. He acted in some theaters. But he is more a director than an actor.

He is also a writer. He published his book “Aparichito Dupur,” a novel, in 2020.
