AKS Vijayan is a famous Indian politician and also ex-member of Parliament of India. He was selected as member in 13^th, 14^th And 15^th of Lok Sabha. He won the election from the Nagapattinam constituency of Tamil Nadu for the party DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) in 1999, 2004 and 2009. Also he was selected 3 times for the lower house of the parliament. After he realize that he has passion and skills for politics he joined Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party. In DMK he held different posts over the time since 1991. As a popular member of DMK he won many election in Nagapattinam constituency of Tamil Nadu in the consistently for the year 1999,2004 and 2009. He was also selected three time in 13th, 14th And 15th Lok Sabha for the lower house of the parliament and leads the DMK. In his career so far he attended many international conference including U N Conference in 2006. He also visited South America, North America, UK, Germany, Malaysia, Sri lanka and UAE. He also served in Chairman Committee as a member of Parliament Local Area Development scheme for almost 5 years. Recently on June 14, 2021 he takes the charge as a Special Representative of Tamil Nadu in New Delhi by ruling DMK and for that he will serve and hold the office for one year.
