After dropping his B.sc Agriculture he decided to make permanent career in politics and for that he joined popular political party Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He worked many years for the party and make his place even stronger. He is famous former Minister and currently working as a MLA of the TDP Party from Tekkali, Andhra Pradesh. During TDP government Acham handled many ministry for labour & employment, youth and sports, factories, skill development and entrepreneurship from 2014 – 2019. In his career so far he many time came in controversy. Recently he is in the news because of his name involved in ESI fraud. His name came in fraud of medicine and some medical piece of the ESI hospital. Right now he is in the custody of anti corruption bureau. Current TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu mentioned that MLA was kidnapped by 100 police officers and also undisclosed location. He also released statement on Jagan Mohan Reddy who is president of AP. Along with that he also demanded resignation of Home minister of Andhra Pradesh named M Sucharita. N Chandrababu Naidu always gave support to former minister and said that current government is targeting him in false case.
