He first appeared as an actor in Dev Benegal’s Split Open after serving in television programs and advertisements in India. Recently he worked in Netflix’s most-watched series titled “Sacred Games Season 2” and in the movie named “Laal Kaptaan” which is directed by Navdeep Singh. Aamir’s Career Started With The Television Drama serial “Daayre” in the year of 1999. during that year he also worked in Show named “Antaral: A Gap In Time” as the Ajit Pandey. In 2001 he appeared as Aman in serial “Sarhadein”. He has appeared in 14 episodes of the TV show titled “Private Investigator” from 2014 to 2015. Aamir subsequently starred in the Netflix action drama series “Sacred Games” as Majid Khan between 2018 and 2019. He played the role of Yashwardhan Patil in the well known sport-drama web series “Inside Edge” of Amazon Prime from 2019 to 2021.

In 1999, Aamir started his career with the crime-drama film named “Split Wide Open”. Several other Bollywood films he worked on include “Clever & Lonely”, “Pyaar Ke Side Effects”, “Armaan”, “Frozen”, “The Great Indian Butterfly”, etc. He starred with Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in the critically acclaimed film “A Wednesday” in 2008. In 2010, he directed and produced a film named “Harud” that tells the story of the story of an Indian family in Kashmir during the war. At The 60th National Film Awards, Aamir film was nominated for the National Award for the Best Urdu Feature Film. Earlier in 2014, Aamir starred in “Haider” as Liyaqat, an action-crime drama movie.
